The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

There’s something really wonderful about the Diana F+.  Yes it’s romantic, nostalgic, trendy, etc…but the relationship between the photographer-camera-subject is much different.  The Diana F+ forces you to be patient, to remain for a bit, to sit, stand, sit again, frame and re-frame.  It reminds you to always have one eye searching and scanning your environment.  12 frames in a medium format roll, that’s it (compared to the 300 frames I can easily fill on the smallest digital card I have).  12 frames on an early Saturday morning, the quiet conversation between a small plastic camera and myself, trying (like all other relationships in my life) not to rush the results.  Enjoy.
